THINGS TO DO
This year’s event will have something for everyone. As well as the Worlds best riders and horses competing for the biggest prize pool EVER in Eventing in the Southern Hemisphere , over $100,000.00, there will be plenty of attractions to keep everyone entertained. Enjoy a drop of South Australia’s finest while enjoying the elegance of the dressage, a spot of shopping, or the thrill and excitement of cross country.
The Market Place is centrally situated near the beautiful and newly renovated Heritage Grandstand, within viewing of the main arena, ajacent to the stables and over from the Coopers Eventer’s Bar. As well as providing enough market stalls for you to ‘shop till you drop’ the Grape and Gourmet food and wine Fair will provide a sensational South Australian food and wine experience across all three days of the event.
A range of new, and return of old favourite activities are planned. The entertaining Dressage Masterclass will be back as will the popular cross-country course walks with guest experts on Friday’Dancing with the Stars’ dressage day. For the kids, the hands on and educational ‘Ponies in the Park ‘will be expanded and there will be many Olympic Medalists, elite riders and International Celebrities to fill the autograph books !
Cross Country day this year will begin with a Crosscountry ‘Masterclass’ on the Main Arena in Victoria Park - stay tuned to find out who this entertaining and expert presenter and Oympic and World Championship Medalist will be!!
The Cooper’s Eventer’s bar will be the place to be seen from twilight and into the nght with lots of fun evening entertainment planned…
Visitors will again be able to indulge in some twilight shopping in the Trade Village and grab a bite to eat in the Grape and Gourmet Gallop.
