Online Stallion Service Auction Fundraiser
The 2009 Australian International Three Day Event will be held in the Adelaide parklands from November 13 to 15th and this year will host the hotly contested Trans Tasman Championships.
This prestigious SA Event was in imminent danger of cancellation due to a budget shortfall. The extaordinary public response to the “Help Save AI 3DE campaign” with the creation of a “Survival Fund” - which has most generously been supported by donations from equestrian enthusiasts and public alike from all across Australia and around the World - has enabled the Board of Management to decide to proceed.
The Australian International 3 DE has the unique distinction of being the only 4* 3DE in the Southern Hemisphere, and it is of vital importance to retain this prestigious event in Adelaide now, and into the future, for the benefit of all Australian based riders vying for Olympic & World Championship Australian Team selection.
Thirty one stallion services have been donated for this Auction which is to be posted online from late August and for bidding to conclude at 5pm EST on September 30th. The AI 3DE Board wishes to acknowledge and to sincerely thank all these most generous Stallion Owners.
